International Travel Insurance

When you leave the United States for vacation, business or missionary work, your health insurance or Medicare will provide little or no coverage for emergency care. If you have a Medicare Supplement, most will have some foreign travel coverage included. They will only pay up to a maximum of $50,000 in your lifetime. Ensure you get a detailed itemization of everything performed as it may be difficult getting more detailed information once you get home since you may not speak the language.
